The Site is intended to help you, or “User,” find the best fitness equipment to help you meet your fitness goals. We provide in-depth reviews, helpful articles, tips and links to retailers and e-tailers.
The following terms are an agreement between you and us regarding the services we provide, the content on our pages and anything else pertaining to your use of the Site. By logging on our Site, you agree to these terms. To opt out of them, you must cease use of the Site. You may also ask that we delete any data that you have given to us by submitting a request to firstname.lastname@example.org
User Eligibility and Responsibility
The Site is meant for adults and is not intended for anyone younger than 18.
You are responsible for the way you use the thefithouse.com as well as any information you give us. You agree not to do anything that would cause or that could cause harm to the Site, The Fit House and/or our users, including the following:
- Initiating attacks that pertain to denial of service
- Copying any content or Site code
- Uploading malware, spyware, trojans, viruses or any harmful or malicious code
- Compromising site security or User information
Any misuse of the Site or our content could result in legal action. We reserve the right to notify government authorities in extreme matters.
You hold a non-transferable, nonexclusive and limited license to use the Site. If you submit content to us, such as comments or through site feedback, you are giving us a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual license to use that content in the following ways: distributing, modifying, transmitting, copying, storing and displaying.
Any ideas you submit for improvement of the Site or our services are assigned to us. You agree that we have to liability to you for putting those ideas into practice.
If a third party has concerns about copyrighted content, they may notify us with a takedown notice in writing that must include the following:
- Sufficient contact information
- A statement that the use of the content has not been authorized by the copyright owner
- A statement that the person submitting the inquiry is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner, and that the information in the notification is accurate.
- Either electronic or physical signature of someone who is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyrighted content in question
- Identification of the copyrighted work in question or a list of the works in question
- Identification of the content that has been alleged to be infringing on the copyright

You agree to use the Site at your own risk. We disclaim any and all implied or express warranties including non-infringement, fitness or a particular purpose, and merchantability. We are not liable for any consequential or direct damages that could stem from you using the Site, including if the Site is not available.
You agree to hold us harmless, indemnify and defend us against losses, damages, claims and expenses that you could bring against us or a third party. Under no circumstances may our liability amount to more than the price you paid for either goods or services that resulted in your action.
We are intended for use within the United States and cannot guarantee the Site outside the United States. Anyone who accesses the Site from outside the U.S. does so at his or her own risk.
Any failure to enforce any of our rights does not signal an implied or express waiver of those rights. If we waive our rights, it will be effective only in writing. If we waive a breach of our Terms for you, it does not constitute a waiver for any breaches that may follow.
Changes to Terms
We have the right to change the Terms at any time. If we do, we will post a notice on the Site, and your use of the Site will be subject to any updated Terms.
We are based in North Carolina. These terms and any issues that arise from your use of the Site fall under the laws of Raleigh, North Carolina. The only permissible venues for any disputes that may arise are the state and federal courts that would have geographical jurisdiction over our office location.
